A New Travolta Family Member! John Travolta Shares Photo with Son Ben and his New Cat
It has been less than a year since the Travolta family suffered a tragic loss with the passing of Kelly Preston, a loving wife to her husband, John Travolta, and devoted mother to their two children Ella, aged 20, and Ben, aged 10.
After what must have been an extremely difficult 8 months, John Travolta has shared happy family news on Instagram, letting the world know that his son Ben is now the proud new owner of a beautiful Persian cat by the name of Crystal!

On Saturday the 13th of March 2021, Travolta made this heartwarming announcement via his Instagram page, accompanied by a happy smiling photo of himself with his son Ben probably cradling his new fluffy feline friend. This photograph is made all the more adorable by the fact that Travolta is embracing Ben whilst they both wear beaming smiles, his son very much looking the spitting image of him.
Travolta simply caption the smile-inducing photograph as “Ben’s new cat Crystal.”, which quickly received an outpour of likes and comments in support of the family, celebrating the new kitty’s arrival! As of March 18th, the post has already received almost half a million likes and over 7,000 comments from the world showing the Travolta family their love.
Travolta’s daughter Ella can be seen in the comments giving the new feline family pet her approval by simply commenting on her father’s latest post with a trio of heart emojis, need she say more?
Travolta has shown time and time again on his Instagram how much he treasures his family, following the passing of his beloved wife his first post upon returning to Instagram was that of a video of him dancing with his daughter in memory of her mother with the caption “My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma. One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me.”

Each time Travolta has posted, it has given his fans the opportunity to pass on their support and love to the family during this difficult time, something that Travolta recognized during a Thanksgiving video post in which he is heard saying “I just want to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting me in such an incredible way this year. Happy Thanksgiving and always love.”
Bringing a cat into the family starts a new chapter for the Travoltas, and will hopefully provide them with that little bit of extra support, as well as giving the fans a new, and adorable Travolta family member to give their love to.
